Every person who holds an important role in governing and developing a country has immense influence. Their decisions shape the future of society—its economy, culture, and moral climate. Such individuals bear great responsibility because their personal beliefs and values directly impact the nation as a whole, and the well-being and prosperity of the country depend on their personal spiritual life.
My primary goal is to restore the spiritual foundation of leaders who can guide their nations toward prosperity by relying on the principles of God’s creation and the Gospel. It is crucial for these leaders to realize that true success and stable development of a country are impossible without the right spiritual foundation. Without it, personal ambitions, the pursuit of wealth, or career growth cannot lead to real progress.
When those at the “top” follow spiritual truths, and their lives and actions are guided by values rooted in the Gospel, the nation can experience true flourishing. Such leaders and their nations are blessed by God because they are not acting solely for their own gain but are fulfilling God’s purpose on Earth. These leaders contribute not only to material prosperity but also to the creation of spiritual, moral, cultural, and social harmony in society.
Examples of such transformation can be seen in nations where leaders understood the Gospel and lived according to spiritual principles, profoundly impacting the development of their societies.
The United States was founded on Christian values, which became one of the foundations of its prosperity and global influence.
South Korea experienced an economic and cultural rise due to missionaries, making it one of the most economically developed countries in the world.
England and Scotland underwent the Reformation, laying the groundwork for democracy, rights, and education.
Ireland, through missionaries, became a significant center of Christian thought and culture in Europe.
Switzerland, influenced by the Reformation, became an example for other nations in matters of democracy and legal values.
Norway, upon accepting Christianity, developed the foundations of a legal state and social responsibility.
In all these countries, where people knew and followed the Gospel, God blessed them because they placed spiritual values first, which became the basis for their prosperity and well-being.
Spiritual ignorance is at the root of many problems that affect not only an individual's life but also their family, lineage, and nation.
When people fail to recognize or ignore the importance of spiritual principles, it leads to inner turmoil and poor decision-making, resulting in misunderstandings and conflicts. Spiritual ignorance is passed down from generation to generation, breaking family traditions and reinforcing a cycle where fundamental values are lost.
On a national level, this leads to social injustice, corruption, and moral decay, as societal institutions and laws are not based on spiritual foundations. On a broader scale, the loss of spiritual direction leads to cultural degradation and the destruction of institutions that uphold peace and stability.
Thus, the problem of spiritual ignorance is fundamental, determining the future of individuals, families, and society as a whole.
When individuals prioritize their spiritual life, and when both leaders and the people begin to follow God’s values, real transformation will begin. This will happen when people and society hear and understand the Gospel, making God’s principles the foundation of their lives and actions. When people stop seeing God merely as a personal servant and instead seek to follow His will, discover their place in His plan, and embrace their true purpose, they will find happiness—and their country will be blessed and prosperous.
